Hi! I focus on technically-oriented, under-recognized causes that offer ultra-high social impact. I’ve started and grown two nonprofits from scratch, The Center for Election Science and Male Contraceptive Initiative. I’m a Fellow at Show Me Integrity where I’m writing a book on voting methods and helping fundraise for state-wide ballot initiatives on approval voting.

For fun, I write essays (as you can see), play chess, pick locks, and train in jiu-jitsu. I’m also a supporter of effective altruism, and I live with my partner in Chicago.
