Hi! I focus on technically oriented, under-recognized causes that offer ultra-high social impact. I’ve started and grown two nonprofits from scratch, one in voting method reform and another in male contraceptives. My work led to approval voting being implemented in its first two cities and a new male contraceptive being funded and entering Phase I clinical trials.

I’m a Fellow at Show Me Integrity where I’m writing a book on voting methods and helping fundraise for state-wide ballot initiatives on approval voting. I also do advising for philanthropic and nonprofit clients.

Be sure to subscribe below if you want to be notified when my upcoming book, Invisible Democracy, is published. You can also reach out if you want to learn how you can support the fellowship or request me for a talk. I’ve published on both voting methods and male contraceptive technology topics. I also write and speak on important, complex topics so they’re accessible to everyone.

For fun, I write essays (as you can see), play chess, pick locks, and stay active. I’m also a supporter of effective altruism and reside in Philadelphia.
